Covecom activity has been developing over 35 years with special regard to restoration. One such project is the Rapallo nun monastery dating back to 1700 A.D.
Main structure being of stone with wood floors and roofing, to be transformed for public school use.
All inside partitions being removed, we kept all the outside finishes for historic preservation and installed new steel beams for floor support and new window openings.
We completely refurbished the city hall of Rapallo including all technical installations.
Projects in the city of Genova: Villa Rossi restoration, Duchessa High School in Galliera, Court House asbestos clean up and roofing metal cladding.
City of Voghera Court House: Asbestos clean up and roof restoration.
City of Lido di Albaro (Genova): restoration of first public swimming pools in Italy (1930’s) with special PVC membranes made by Covecom. This was a joint venture with Jacorossi company (installations).
Italian Railways: bridge reinforcing with resin injection and mortar reconstruction in the Milano, Genova and Rome areas.
Livorno Naval Academy: Main buildings refurbishment during 2 years prior to the institution centennial ceremonies.
Rome post offices and postal buildings: main courts and roof waterproofing in the EUR area .
Covecom’s first and second shop building in Trezzano (Milano) 3500 m2, built using special foundations ,being on what was originally a rice field.
In the latter building special waterproofing butilic membranes were installed in single sheets of up to 1500 m2.
Various other demolition projects have been carried out strictly related to clean up work performed on land reclamation work ( asbestos and soil clean up) described before.
